About the Artist

Have you ever been in nature and come upon a wild animal, or rare flower, maybe walking into an open vista with a magical view on perfect day? These moments may be fleeting but they move me to my spiritual core. This is why I paint!  I have lived in maine since 2009. Maine's immensity and diversity of landscape's offer me inspiration that will last beyond my lifetime.

My home and studio located in the Western Foothills with ever changing seasons, rugged forrests, farms and wildlife. After a backroad drive in autumn or a getaway to the coast, I hunger for the easle, the smell of paint and the meditation and focus it brings.

New England itself offers so much, and I started my career as a decorative and mural artist working with clients in Boston, Newhampshire and Maine. Having mentors in the arts all the long ,I kept up developing my skills, eventually moving from acrylics to oils, from clients to plein air, and studio painting.

I realize now that art is a lifetime of learning and discovering,as changing as the tides, so are our experiences. For this reason I am driven to express myself, and the greatest validation from this effort is when others are moved by my work.
